Judge a book by it's cover - 'The Anatomy Of Human Destructiveness' by Erich Fromm

Some initial thoughts/ ideas

After dipping into my book a little I came across the following quote in the 'terminology' section.

"As the generations pass they grow worse. A time will come when they have grown so wicked that they will worship power; might will be right to them and reverence for the good will cease to be. At last , no man is angry any more at wrongdoing or feels shame in the presence of the miserable, Zeus will destroy them too. And yet even then something might be done, if only the common people would rise and put down rulers that oppress them."

I also happened upon the illustrations of Cleon Peterson and, in tandem with the quote, they gave me the idea of trying out something related to greek mythology. Of course the fact that the quote comes from a greek myth was a large factor, but also the striking similarities I feel exist between Peterson's work (which depicts actions of human destruction and violence) and traditional greek vases, which often depict scenes from greek mythology.

I also think that greek myths often deal with the destructive and greedy nature of humankind (e.g. Pandora's Box and the story of Prometheus) making them and overall suitable theme for one of my rough ideas. I reckon I will start experimenting with greek style imagery.
